NSW Government Sustainability Initiatives

We all know that past government sustainability initiatives have forgotten apartment living. It is evident that 18 per cent of houses in NSW have solar PV installed on their rooftops, while only 0.5% of strata schemes have connected solar PV systems.

Owners corporations, owners and tenants encounter all sorts of problems retrofitting sustainability infrastructure such as:

• solar panels
• batteries
• digital meters
• hot water systems
• electric vehicle (EV) charging stations

The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has partnered with the Institute for Sustainable Futures and Green Strata to analyse customer experiences.
