2022 SCA LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

At the SCA NSW Convention Gala dinner held in October 2022, Strata+ co-owners David and Olivera were awarded SCA Lifetime membership.

David shared “Thank you to the SCA Board for the recognition and to the members for the opportunity to serve you over the years. An industry filled with terrific people that we are proud to be a part of.”

The acknowledgment was not only for their personal contributions to the strata sector, but also for the company’s 21 years of supporting every Strata+ manager and assistant to be both part of our NSW professional strata body and to achieve individual accreditation.

David’s contribution the success of SCA is documented in “The Story of Strata Title in New South Wales” by John Coleman.  In additional to being the Principal of Strata Plus, David found time to serve on SCA committees and the NSW Board including being President.

In 2016 David received the NSW President’s award in appreciation for his facilitation of the formation of SCA.  It was under David’s leadership that the transition from state to a professional national body was able to occur.

In 2018 David was awarded the SCA National Presidents Award so that the membership across all states and territories would be aware of his leadership in achieving our national body, and his leadership in introducing the SCA strata manager accreditation program.

Olivera’s passion for education and profession standards at both national and state levels is evident from her serving over the years on the National Education Advisory Board, the National Professional Standards & Membership Board Advisory Group, the NSW Strata Manager Chapter, the NSW Professional Standards Committee, and the NSW Education sub-committee.

Olivera has always enjoyed supporting the secretariat, committees and Board members with her knowledge, ideas and development of SCA resources. Her sector colleagues shared their appreciation of Olivera’s behind the scenes contributions to SCA’s plans, programs, presentations, guides, as well as her drive for professional improvement.

The team thoroughly enjoyed celebrating this fantastic achievement of the Strata+ owners and directors in Strata+ 21st year!
