Strata Plus Group has been honoured with the prestigious 2023 Environmental, Social, and Community Impact Award from the Strata Community Association (SCA). This recognition highlights the company’s exceptional dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) through its commitment to cultural awareness and reconciliation.

A vision beyond checkboxes

At Strata Plus, we firmly believe that DE&I isn’t a mere checkbox but a fundamental aspect of its identity. Recognising that embracing diversity fuels innovation and enhances customer service, we have strived to champion these principles. Our diverse workforce brings a rich tapestry of thoughts and ideas, fostering innovation and problem-solving.

Transforming a vision into reality

Our path to reconciliation commenced with a series of impactful initiatives to raise cultural awareness. We established an employee champions network and provided support to local Indigenous events. These actions underscored the company’s commitment to embracing and understanding the cultural significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage.

Seeking guidance

We initiated a cultural awareness program to translate our vision into action, joining forces with Indigenous Building Company MGM Building Maintenance in 2022 for guidance and to actively foster connections and a better understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, officially endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in 2023, formalised our ongoing dedication to reconciliation. This comprehensive plan outlines actions, timeframes, and responsibilities for reconciliation initiatives.

We are committed to sharing our journey with other strata management agencies and developers, facilitating the adoption of similar frameworks. Furthermore, we are dedicated to fostering awareness within our strata communities, working to eliminate disparities and reduce stigma.
